Chai Spiced Banana Bread


Many of you requested the recipe for my chai spiced banana bread that I posted earlier on my Instagram. Because I didn't quite write down the recipe the first time I made it I had to redo it a few times to make sure it works. Luckily it did work!

I hope you will enjoy this banana bread. I think it's the perfect Winter snack. 

Chai Spiced Banana Bread

vegan ● total time: 1 hour ● Servings: 1 loaf

2 ripe bananas

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder 

0.5 cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

0.5 tsp cinnamon

0.5 tsp cardamom

pinch of vanilla

1 cup oat milk

0.5 cup strong chai tea

  1. Start by mashing the bananas.

  2. Brew some chai tea up to 5 minutes. You want it strong.

  3. In a bowl mix the dry ingredients and spices. 

  4. Add in the mashed banana.

  5. Add in the oat milk and the chai tea.

  6. Mix it all through well. 

  7. Pour into a loaf pan.

  8. Bake for about 40 minutes in 180 degrees celsius or until the middle of the loaf comes out dry.
