I recently got to visit one of my favourite places on this earth aka. Byron Bay. This chill little beach town in the northern NSW, Australia, is one of a kind. I think one has to experience Byron Bay themselves to truly understand this town's magic. You can come here for a day or two filled with epic plant based food, beach life and ethical and sustainable shopping. Yes, Byron Bay truly is the ethical and conscious fashionistas dream. Whilst I was walking around town I popped into a few beautiful stores that I just couldn't resist sharing with you.

Marr-kett

Not exactly a clothing store, but more of a homeware store that has everything one could dream of. Cosy pyjamas, candles, rugs, cups, sents, you name it. They support local makers as well as other artisans. Visit here if you're looking for some Marrakech vibes.

Seabones

A cute shop that stocks quite a few ethical fashion brands, for example Opia and Arthur Apparel, as well beautiful beach wear.

Arnhem

A beautiful Byron Bay based label that cares about ethics and sustainability. This label truly does it right on so many levels and if I had the money I would buy all of their dreamy dresses.

Rowie

One of the first ethical labels I fell in love with is Rowie who's based in Byron Bay. Come here if you're looking for timeless quality linnen pieces.  I wish my wardrobe was filled with all things Rowie.

Hope & May

This shop is next level inspiration. You'll find beautiful basket bags and a few ethical clothing brands such as Faithful the Brand.

+ Keep an eye out for other independent labels and craft stores. Byron also offers a great range of second hand shopping, everything from cheap Vinnie's to more expensive vintage boutiques. Also make sure to visit the Byron Bay Markets on the 1st Sunday every month.
