My Vegan Guide to Oslo

This post about Oslo and it's delicious vegan food is coming up quite late because I completely forgot I wanted to make it. It wasn't until I scrolled through some photos on my phone that I realised what I had had in mind. Better late than never right?

My boyfriend and I visited Oslo during the last weekend of July. As the great boyfriend he is he was happy to eat at all the vegan cafes I had picked out. He also put up with a very hangry girlfriend at times. All in all it was a very delicious little weekend get away and it was so much fun to discover all the great things Norway's capital had to offer.

The downside with visiting Norway are the prices. This country is crazy expensive.

Our first lunch spot was this awesome vegan cafe called Funky Fresh Foods. Awesome space at some kind of art centre. Something else that is awesome is the menu. Packed with fun vegan goodness. We both went for a burger, I personally choose the pulled jackfruit burger (first time I had pulled jackfruit) and it was delicious. The best thing about this dish were the potato wedges. They also sell a whole bunch of delicious looking cakes here. Well worth a visit!

Oslo Raw is a very cute vegan cafe that makes raw vegan food and treats. We only sat down for a quick afternoon treat - kombucha and a raw brownie. I think we made the right choice because this raw brownie is one of the best things I've ever had. It's one of the only reason I would go back to Oslo.

The prefect breakfast spot in Oslo must be Liebling. I was too hungry to take a photo of what I ate, but you get to enjoy a photo of the cozy interior instead. Me and my boyfriend both went for an acai bowl and it definitely gets a big thumbs up! This place isn't all vegan, but at least all vegetarian I believe.

Looking for somewhere to have dinner? Then I suggest you go to Loving Hut. This vegan restaurant will have something for everyone as the menu is very broad. They were out of what I originally wanted (vegan hot dogs), but I ened up loving the big raw spaghetti salad I ordered. My boyfriend was also very pleased with the falafel wrap he ordered.
