23 Things I've Learnt In 23 Years
Somehow yet another year has passed and I'm suddenly turning 23. Not today, but this Sunday. It feels like such a strange in between age, but that doesn't make it any less important. I'm going to embrace being 23 in the best way I can. Even though I might only be almost 23 years young, I've learnt some things on the way. Today I wanted to share 23 things I've learnt on this journey called life.
Not everyone will like you
and therefore you can't be friends with everyone.
It's okay to be an introvert and a morning person.
Love will find you.
Do it for yourself, not for them.
Veganism is a lifestyle, not a diet.
Don't try to hide your feelings,
they will eventually make it to the surface anyways.
Follow your heart. ALWAYS.
You only have one life so make it YOUR life.
Real friends will be there for you no matter what
and they are the ones worth holding on to.
Travelling is the best thing one can spend their money on.
Working in hospitality is tougher than people make it seem.
Saying no isn't always a bad thing.
There's always a tomorrow,
even if today doesn't go like planned.
Life doesn't always turn out like you thought,
but it's not the end of the world.
Lists can help a messy mind to stay calm.
Yoga isn't boring,
Don't be afraid to reach out to people you look up to,
they might be happy to teach you a thing or two.
Trust the universe.
It will always have your back.
Finland will always be my home,
even though I'm physically somewhere else.
I'm an emotional person
and that crying is okay.
Being the tallest girl isn't so bad.
Chocolate is good for the soul.
Take care of yourself.
Your body is smarter than you think
and will let you know when you're not treating it well.
