Green Goodess Dip and Bowl Recipe
Sometimes you don't have many things in your fridge which means you have to get a little bit creative. This is when some of the best things are born. A blender is always a great help too as you can throw a bunch of ingredients in it and suddenly you have something completely different in front of you.
This recipe post is made in collaboration with my favourite blender Optimum G2.1 Platinum Series Blender and the lovely Froothie Finland team. I'm truly so honoured to be working together with them and bring you delicious recipes made with my very own Optimum G2.1 blender. I'm also happy to tell you that you can get 20 euros off your very own blender by using the discount code IDA-OPTIMUM-20. Simply follow the link here to get your own.
As I said earlier some of the best recipes are born when you have a pretty empty fridge. Well that's exactly how the dip in this dish was created. I wanted to make hummus but simply didn't have all the ingredients for a traditional hummus mix. Instead I made the Green Goodness Dip! I will definitely be making it many more times, it's so delicious and very refreshing thanks to a secret ingredient I'll share with you guys bellow in the recipe.
Besides the dip I'll also be sharing you a Goodness bowl recipe which works perfectly together with this dip. I hope you guys will enjoy it!
Green Goodness Dip
1.5 cups frozen peas
1 cm thick slice of cucumber
2 tbsp light tahini
Add all of the ingredients into your high speed blender.
For Optimum G2.1 blender users choose the 'sauce' setting to get the perfect texture.
Once blended it's all done!
Green Goodness Bowl
buckwheat soba noodles
0.5 small sweet potaot
1 cup edamame beans
quarter of a cucumber
big handful of leafy greens
green goodness dip
dash of tamari
Boil or roast the sweet potato.
Boil the soba noodles according to package instructions.
Steam the edamame beans.
Chop the cucumber.
Wash your leafy greens.
Assemble your bowl with all of the deliciousness listed above.
Finish of with a big dollop of the green goodness dressing and a dash of tamari.
This is my kind of savoury bowl. It's super easy to mix it up with other veggies, just grab whatever you have in your fridge.
